Krishna Payne Rowland, MSN, CPNP, is a nurse practitioner and is part of the multidisciplinary team in the Comprehensive Care Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. The team provides superior care and strong, ongoing support to patients and their families. Krishna cares for patients in all of the clinics, including inpatient, outpatient and infusion.
Krishna is passionate about sickle cell disease management. Her aunt with sickle cell disease played a major role in her decision to pursue improving the quality of life for children with sickle cell disease.
Krishna brings a great amount of experience to the Dayton Children's team. She's been in the healthcare field since 2003, where she began her career as a registered nurse at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center. She served as a member of of multiple councils, including Nursing Professional Coordinating Council, Board of Trustees (Patient Care Commitee within the Cabinet), Family Advisory Council and Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Council.
