We are incredibly appreciative of the community’s support during these uncertain times. We have received so many requests about how the community can help. We want to share answers to the most common questions we’ve received about offering help.
are there ways we can give financially?
To offset the unexpected expenses for the pandemic, Dayton Children’s Hospital Foundation established a new COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund.
This special fund will ensure our care teams have all the tools and resources they need to continue caring for kids right now the way only Dayton Children’s can. Many resources are needed to respond to the pandemic, including specialized supplies, medical tests, expert care, and technology. Money raised will allow Dayton Children’s to respond to the most urgent needs as they arise.
From organizing new screening procedures for patients, staff, and visitors to setting up virtual visit capabilities so our caregivers can still provide above and beyond care for kids, your support will help us address the evolving needs as we face this crisis.

can I donate food to your staff?
Food is always a great path to a health care workers heart! If you are a local business interested in donating pre-packaged or restaurant prepared food items for our staff members, please email email@example.com with your contact information and what you would like to donate.
Unfortunately, we cannot take homemade food items at this time. We are also unable to accept any donations that are dropped off directly at the hospital or any of our outpatient care locations without advanced coordination.
