Every year, K99.1FM generously contributes their time and talent to raise money for Dayton Children's during the Cares for Kids Radiothon. We are grateful for their dedication and so thankful for the thousands of people who listen, make donations, and volunteer to answer the phones. Here's a "behind the scenes" view of all that took place during the 2010 K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon and all that went into raising $200,000 to provide the best possible pediatric medical equipment for our patients.
Upcoming Events
The Dayton Police Department and the Dayton Fire Department have teamed up with the Dayton Dragons to host “Battle of the Badges,” a charity softball game, on June 23, 2013 to benefit the CARE House. The Dragons host the Lansing Lugnuts at 4 PM that afternoon and the softball game between Dayton’s finest will follow.
