Dr. Nicholson joins Dayton Children's endocrinology department

Yelena Nicholson, DO, joins Dayton Children’s endocrinology department. Dr. Nicholson comes to us from the endocrinology division at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Dr. Nicholson received her medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri and completed a pediatric residency at Good Samaritan Hospital and Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, N.Y.

She completed her fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, N.Y. and is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology. Her special interest is in diabetes and diabetes technology including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring sensors

Dr. Nicholson and her family reside in Sugarcreek.
