Navjyot Vidwan, MD

We are pleased to announce Najvyot Vidwan, MD, has joined the department of infectious disease and inpatient general pediatric division at Dayton Children's.

Dr. Vidwan joins us after completing a fellowship in pediatric infectious disease at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She received her medical degree from University College Dublin, Ireland, and completed her pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s.

Dr. Vidwan is board certified in pediatrics and has special interest in maternal-child health, global health and community outreach.

A comprehensive range of services is available in Dayton Children's department of infectious disease for pediatric patients up to 21 years of age with infectious diseases.

The inpatient general pediatric division provides inpatient attending service for community practitioners and cares for infants, children and teens admitted to the facility. With the addition of Dr. Vidwan, infectious disease and general inpatient divisions are now both fully staffed.

The Dayton Police Department and the Dayton Fire Department have teamed up with the Dayton Dragons to host “Battle of the Badges,” a charity softball game, on June 23, 2013 to benefit the CARE House. The Dragons host the Lansing Lugnuts at 4 PM that afternoon and the softball game between Dayton’s finest will follow.
