"I would like to thank Emily Browning for going above and beyond the scope of her job. She demonstrated outstanding SPIRIT by exceeding service standards. I had taken a trauma patient to medical imaging for x-rays; this patient had been hit by a van along with her sibling. Emily was talking with the patient while the other tech was taking the pictures. The patient shared with Emily that she and her sister and cousins were on their way to look at Silly Bandz, but didn’t have any money to purchase them when they were struck by the van. Emily immediately inquired to see if our gift shop had Silly Bandz, which they did. She asked them to hold a couple of packages for her. Emily was going to buy these and give them to the patients and sister. These actions clearly go above and beyond the expectations of a medical imaging tech. Emily is an asset to Dayton Children's."
