Nominated by a family:
"I would like to thank Julia Spencer for going above and beyond the call of duty. She was so kind and patient with us and needs to be recognized for what she has done. On Friday, March 12, 2010, we brought our 21-year-old autistic son to Dayton Children's to have a procedure done. Because we have been to Children's in the past, we assumed that this is where his procedure was being done. Julia looked all over for our appointment but she didn't have any record of it. We found out that his procedure was being done at Grandview. Julia helped us get directions to Grandview. She was so patient with us even though she was very busy that day. I kept apologizing to her and she just kept smiling and saying, "That's ok - no problem." Then after we arrived at Grandview, Julia even called there to make sure that we made it alright. Julie went above and beyond the call of duty. She truly is a great employee, you are lucky to have her."
