"I would like to thank Ms. Dean for exceptional dedication and job performance. Ms. Dean's hard work and devotion assists countless others. Ms. Dean works diligently in accounting, making certain that critical budget issues and finance matters are readily available for other hospital staff members when needed...often at a moment's notice! Ms. Dean is often 'behind the scenes' at the hospital, though her job is of vital importance in securing many needed services for Dayton Children's patients. Due to Ms. Dean's efforts, outgoing grant funding to support hospital and social work care for maltreated children remains successful. In addition, Ms. Dean is a true professional - she demonstrates a positive, welcoming and helpful attitude regardless of any challenge presented. Ms. Dean operates with the highest level of ethical integrity and respect for others as well. Ms. Dean is honestly an all-around team player who is willing to take 'outfield,' first base, or the bench...knowing that her can-do attitude will result in a home run! I am so very pleased and honored to work with Ms. Dean. She is a shining star at Dayton Children's!"

The Dayton Police Department and the Dayton Fire Department have teamed up with the Dayton Dragons to host “Battle of the Badges,” a charity softball game, on June 23, 2013 to benefit the CARE House. The Dragons host the Lansing Lugnuts at 4 PM that afternoon and the softball game between Dayton’s finest will follow.
