Are you a teen and want to beat your smoking or tobacco use habit? Are you tired of wasting money on cigarettes or other tobacco products?
The STAND program at Dayton Children's will help you stop using tobacco and to choose a more healthy attitude and behavior. Videos, visual aids, monitoring devices and role play makes this interactive program interesting and effective in raising your awareness of tobacco use and the ways tobacco companies get you to use their products.
For more information or to register, call Belinda Huffman at 937-641-3266.
This program is a community service from Dayton Children's respiratory care department.
Are you an adult who wants to quit?
The STAND program is currently available for teens only. Please contact our Family Resource Center at 937-641-3700 for smoking cessation programs in the community. You may also call 937-641-3266. This will help Dayton Children's determine how many adults might be interested in a smoking cessation program sponsored by Dayton Children's.
Visit the Dayton Children's blog and join in the conversation with Dr. Ramey, child psychologist, Jessica Saunders, mommy safety and Dr. Mom on parenting tips and how to keep your kids healthy and safe.
