Your child’s ongoing conditions often require additional resources to assist you in caring for their needs. Whether its transporting to therapy services near your home, finding social activities, or getting financial assistance, Dayton Children’s understands it can be overwhelming searching for the help you need.
With our Special Needs Resource Center, you can search resources that span over the 20 county area that Dayton Children’s serves. You can quickly connect to local, regional and national resources to help you locate information about education, healthcare, financial, transition, recreation, networking, future planning and more.
You will find topic sections to the left. Or you can type in a specific subject in the search box below.
In addition to the resource center, we also offer the complete KidsHealth Library to help parents learn more about a specific condition. Information is given in easy-to-understand terms and in many cases available in Spanish as well as English.
We encourage you to explore and feel free to add resources that are currently not included by emailing FRC@childrensdayton.org. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please don’t hesitate to contact our MeadWestvaco Family Resource Center at (937) 641-3700.
