Camp Talk is for children 6-14 who have a speech/language IEP
Day for children with ADD/ADHD, Developmental Disability, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Therapeutic.
More InformationCamp Talk by the Lake is for children ages 6 through 14 who struggle with speech, language and/or social communication and have a current speech and language individual education plan (IEP).
Offers intensive speech and language therapy in individual and group sessions. Therapy is provided by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists with assistance from future intervention specialists and teachers. Camp is designed to meet individual needs.
Children should have a basic grasp of daily living needs (toilet trained and self feeding).
Camp will benefit children with autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Apraxia of Speech, ADHD, developmental delay, Down syndrome, language delay, phonology processing disorders or articulation disorders.
Camp TALK runs July 28 through August 12, 2013 at Wright State University's Lake Campus.
Camp includes meals, all activities and therapy. Activities include arts and crafts, social time, science and nature, swimming and gross motor games.
