Working at Dayton Children's

It’s no surprise that Dayton Children’s has been named a “Best Place to Work” time and time again. Our more than 2,000 employees come to work every day to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families and this difference is seen all the time in the comments and stories we hear from families.

We believe our employees are our most important investment which is why we take the time to build a positive work environment and competitive benefits (link to benefits page).

We are moving at a fast pace and are looking for the right talent for our team at Dayton Children’s.  We want people who embody our values and want to become a part of the Dayton Children’s difference. If that is you, apply today!

Protecting our patients

To best protect the children we care for, Dayton Children’s is a nicotine free organization and the annual Influenza immunization is mandatory for those working at Dayton Children's. All employees and volunteers must be vaccinated unless there is a documented and legitimate reason not to do so. During the Influenza Vaccination season, this is done as part of the pre-placement physical before beginning work and then on an annual basis throughout employment with Dayton Children's Hospital.

How to apply

If you are interested in any of our career opportunities, please fill out an application online by locating available positions here. In addition to employment opportunities listed for the hospital, there may be opportunities with doctor's offices located on the hospital's campus or with organizations such as CARE House.

Stay connected

If you have an interest in pediatric health and safety, join our online community to receive free child health and safety updates every month from the pediatric experts at Dayton Children's.
