Telethon Aims to Raise $2.1 million for Dayton Children's

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Telethon

Be sure to tune in to the 30th Children's Miracle Network Telethon June 2-3 on WHIO-TV, channel 7. As always, the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals telethon will be co-hosted by Cheryl McHenry, Mike Hartsock from WHIO-TV and K99.1FM's Nancy Wilson. The 2012-2013 ambassadors will be introduced along with their inspiring stories. Additionally, viewers will meet the many patients and families that are treated at Dayton Children's -- these are miracles in action!

Volunteers from local businesses that raised money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals man the phone bank. The telethon celebrates the entire year of giving to Dayton Children's and the many individuals, companies, organizations and schools that have raised money to support Dayton Children's will present their gifts. The funds will help purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment and supplies for patient areas, support the Needy Patient Fund, and provide money for specific projects and programs at Dayton Children's.

Thanks to the generous Miami Valley community, Dayton Children's set a new giving record, surpassing the $2.1 million goall! We look forward to doing even better this year!
