K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon Airs November 21-23

On November 21-23, 2011 for the Annual K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon raised over $200,000 to support Dayton Children's. Stay tuned for the 2012 radiothon hosted by Nancy Wilson and Frye Guy from K99.1FM's Breakfast Club, and help break our record by making your gift today.

K99.1FM is helping kids throughout the Miami Valley with listener support during its annual radiothon.

The Cares for Kids Radiothon raises money to provide high-quality pediatric health care to infants, children and teens throughout the region. Nancy broadcasts live from the Dayton Children's lobby, talking to patients and families while asking listeners to call in donations and make a contribution .

Since K99.1FM began airing the radiothon in 1998, they have raised over $2 million to help Dayton Children's provide the best pediatric care for children when they are sick or injured. Money raised has purchased two new pediatric mobile intensive care units, special monitors for the Almost Home Unit, a pre/post op room in the surgery area and much needed medical equipment in other patient care areas.
