Our mission is to improve the health status of children. One way of doing this is through the care given by the nurses. Nursing care not only focuses on making a child better, but by promoting safety, educating families and helping the overall well-being of the child.
Dayton Children’s nurses are specially trained to provide high quality care through formal education, national certifications and many years of experience. As of June 30, 2010, Dayton Children’s employs 584 nurses including 37 APNS, 532 RNs, 15 LPNs and 96 nationally certified nurses with over 5,900 years of experience.
