Children's Miracle Network Balloons
Many businesses in the area sell Children's Miracle Network balloons and other icons for $1.00 throughout the year. All the money raised in the Dayton area and the twenty county service region directly benefits Dayton Children's. Many of these companies may also have change collection jars or conduct special events during the year and we urge you to actively participate. Dayton Children's Air Force Marathon Team
Join the Dayton Children's Air Force Marathon Team and run for kids that can't! The 2016 Air Force Marathon takes place September 17. Dayton Children's has charity spots in the full and half marathon. Register or start your own team and receive your own personal fundraising page. Invite friends and family to support your running efforts by making a donation to make sure kids in the region have the highest quality pediatric medical care. Help sick kids in our community get better by joining the Dayton Children's team today.
AmazonSmile is a program where Amazon donates 0.5% of the purchase price of eligble products to Dayton Children's when you shop. It's a quick and easy way to help the patients at treated at the hospital when you shop using AmazonSmile.
In addition to donating from the Dayton Children's website, you can also make an online gift via JustGive.org. A 3% transaction fee is deducted from your gift for processing fees. You will receive an automatic thank you note from JustGive that you can use for your tax records.
You can set up your own fundraising page to support Dayton Children's on Crowdrise. Get started by setting up a Crowdrise account and profile. Then come up with a fundraising project - a marathon, a bike ride, tournament...be creative! Invite your friends and family to help you with your fundraising project through the social media feeds and email generator. It is so easy and fun to do! Kohl's Department Stores have a long-standing commitment to helping pediatric hospitals. Wonderful books and stuffed animals are sold at all Kohl's Department Stores for $5.00 each. The books and themes change throughout the year. The funds sponsor important educational messages during the Kohl's a Minute for Kids public service announcements on the radio.
Kroger Community Rewards Program
Enroll in the Kroger Community Rewards program by registering your Kroger Plus card online at www.krogercommunityrewards.com. A portion of your total grocery purchase will be donated to Dayton Children's. Sign into your account or create a new one. Enter the Dayton Children's NPO number: 83229 and click "Enroll." Then, every time you shop at Kroger, swipe your Kroger Plus card for each purchase to count. Remember to reenroll annually in April.
Each April, the Dayton-area Panera locations hold a "Pieces of Hope" cookie sale to benefit the Austism Diagnostic Center. Proceeds from the sale of these special puzzle-piece cookies along with change from the canisters is donated to Dayton Children's to support our programs to diagnose and treat kids on the autism spectrum. Use a referral form when you get your taxes done at H&R Block (new customers only). Already using H&R Block? Pass along the referral form for a friend to use. For each redeemed referral, H&R Block will donate $20.00 to Dayton Children's. The Dayton Children's H&R Block referral form is good at any H&R Block location in the United States.

Child's Play Charity
Are you a gamer? Would you like to buy video games and systems for patients and the play rooms? Child's Play Charity was established by the video gaming community to help pediatric hospitals. Giving is easy! Simply visit the Amazon wish list, buy a toy, video game or movie, and your gift will be shipped directly to us.
Rumpke Recycling Center
The Rumpke Recycling Center in Dayton will accept aluminum, cardboard, newspaper, office paper, glass, copper and more from individuals and companies. When you drop off items at the Recycling Center at 1300 E. Monument Dr. in Dayton, you can opt to have your buy-back money donated to Dayton Children's. This is a simple way to help kids and our earth!
Donate used computers, appliances, electronics, toner cartridges and office equipment through Charitable Recycling. These items are recycled for you and the proceeds are donated to Dayton Children's. To arrange for pick-up (five items minimum), please call 937-591-0925 or email email@example.com. The drop-off location is1712 Springfield Street, Dayton, OH 45403. Hours for drop-off is Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Spirit Halloween Stores
Every September and October, the ghosts and goblins appear at Spirit Halloween stores in Dayton, Miamisburg, Troy and Piqua. When you shop for Halloween, you will get 10% off your entire purchase (download coupon here) and Spirit Halloween will donate 10% to the child life department at Dayton Children's. Wish List Drives
There is always a need for toys, games, books, movies, arts and crafts supplies, blankets, gift cards and educational materials for the child life department and the Family Resource Center. Consider doing a wish list drive at your office, church, sorority/fraternity, classroom or with your family and friends. You can drop off items any time at the main information desk. Visit the wish list and start your collection today.
