Job Description
Wright State University School of Medicine and The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton are recruiting for an additional full-time pediatric gastroenterologist at the assistant/associate professor level. Candidates must have an MD, DO, or MBBS degree, have completed an approved pediatric gastroenterology fellowship, be board eligible/certified in pediatric gastroenterology and be able to obtain an unrestricted license in Ohio. The successful candidate must be an outstanding clinician and have an interest or experience in resident and medical student teaching. Opportunities exist to conduct excellent clinical research. The GI division is composed of 3 pediatric gastroenterologists (a 4th starting starting summer 2013) and one pediatric nurse practitioner that see over 7000 outpatient visits per year and perform more than 700 endoscopic procedures. The GI division offers a wide range of services including an eating disorder program, obesity and cholesterol clinic, motility lab, and a nutritional support clinic. Dayton is a wonderful family oriented community with a new riverfront park, excellent schools, and a new performing arts center.
