Dayton Children’s Hospital has a part time opportunity for a board certified/board eligible pediatrician in our Children’s Health Clinic. Candidates must have a strong interest in teaching residents and medical students, participating in scholarly activities and caring for complex patients. Work schedule will be 6 half-day clinics/week and call coverage.

With 250 active staff physicians in more than 35 specialties, the 155-bed Dayton Children’s is home to:
•The level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit (41 beds) that provides the highest level of care in the region.
•A pediatric intensive care unit that leads the county in quality practices.
•The region’s only pediatric trauma and emergency center where more than 180 children are seen each day.
•One of 11 accredited pediatric cancer care programs in the nation
•An advanced pediatric surgery center where nearly 12,000 surgeries are performed each year.
Affiliated with the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, Dayton Children’s offers residency programs for each pediatric subspecialty. In addition, Dayton Children’s has partnered with Wright Patterson Air Force Base to provide pediatric training to military physicians. This is the only such program of its kind between the Air Force and a civilian hospital.
