Outpatient Testing Center - Vandalia celebrates one year anniversary

12-09-2009 (Dayton, OH) - Dayton Children's Outpatient Testing Center - Vandalia celebrates its one year anniversary on Tuesday, December 15. In the past year, the testing center has seen over 1,400 patients and performed 1,434 x-rays, 193 combined EKGs and echocardiograms, 295 ultrasounds and close to 11,000 laboratory tests since last year. In addition, patient satisfaction for the center has been outstanding.

Dayton Children's Outpatient Testing Center - Vandalia offers services in:

Laboratory (walk-in): A full range of laboratory testing
Medical imaging: Conventional radiography, ultrasound and EKG (walk-in); echocardiograms (by appointment)

"The center is all about making it convenient for parents and families north of Dayton to get specialized pediatric care close to home," says Matt Graybill, vice president for business development and planning at Dayton Children's. "Since we opened, we have seen more patients than originally anticipated. This is another indication of a need."
