The Wright State baseball team will be hosting their second annual Wright State Baseball vs. Cancer game on Saturday, March 30, in conjunction with their series finale with Youngstown State at Nischwitz Stadium. First pitch is set for 2:00 p.m.
Members of the team will have their heads shaved to show support for the brave children fighting cancer. In addition to shaving their heads, the team will be collecting donations in support of the Vs. Cancer Foundation and Dayton Children's Medical Center leading up to and at the game. Patients, families, caretakers and staff from Dayton Children’s Medical Center will take part in several areas of the game, as well as the player head-shaving after the contest.
Following the game, fans will have the opportunity to have their heads shaved by SportClips stylists for a $5 donation. Proceeds from the game will go to the Vs. Cancer Foundation and Dayton Children’s Medical Center
