Child Advocacy Center of Warren County recognized

Teresa Wiles, manager of the Child Advocacy Center of Warren County, wants to share some good news: The Warren County Foundation will be recognizing the Child Advocacy Center of Warren County with its 2010 Emerging Organization Award.
The award was given for:

  • Serving as a role model for other emerging organizations for being dedicated to its mission and for operating at the highest professional standards, and
  • Having made significant contributions to enhancing the quality of life in Warren County.

The Child Advocacy Center of Warren County is located at Dayton Children's Specialty Care Center and like CARE House, provides care and support to children who have been abused. The award will be presented April 21 at the Warren County Foundation Service Awards banquet.

Dayton Children’s recognizes National Child Abuse Prevention Month through annual pinwheel campaign

April is National Child Abuse Prevention month, and this year Dayton Children’s Child Advocacy Centers (CAC) are planting pinwheel gardens around the community to raise awareness of child abuse.
