John M Wiemann, MD, has recently joined the The Orthopaedic Center at The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton. He most recently completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando.
Dr. Wiemann received his medical degree from the University of California- San Diego and completed an internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He is board-eligible in orthopaedic surgery and brings expertise in hip pain, adolescent hip preservation and scoliosis.
The Orthopaedic Center at Dayton Children's is staffed by board-certified physicians who are fellowship trained in pediatric orthopedics and are experts in the treatment of diseases of the pediatric and adolescent musculoskeletal system. With the addition of Dr. Wiemann, the Center now has five highly trained orthopaedic surgeons who specialize in pediatrics. The Orthopaedic Center manages a wide range of pediatric orthopedic care from simple fractures to the most complicated congenital anomalies and deformities for infants, children and young adults up to 21 years old. State-of-the-art technology is available to precisely correct deformities, lengthen limbs, and treat severe fractures.
