Media Release: Buffalo Wild Wings raises money for Dayton Children's during 'March Madness'

03-01-2010 (Dayton, OH) - Buffalo Wild Wings has teamed up with Children's Miracle Network this March to help raise funds for The Children's Medical Center of Dayton.

Beginning Sunday, March 1 through March 31, Buffalo Wild Wings' customers can purchase a paper basketball for only a $1.00.

This is the first year for the Buffalo Wild Wings Richmond location to participate and help the children in Dayton Children's 20-county region.

"We feel very fortunate to have Dayton Children's in our backyard. The care they give to the kid's of our community is second to none," says John Slaughenhaupt, owner of Buffalo Wild Wings.

"That makes supporting Dayton Children's an easy decision to make and one of the most rewarding things we do all year long."

Since 2001, Buffalo Wild Wings has raised over $146,000 for Dayton Children's including last year's total of over $27,000 for the hospital.

"We are so grateful for the wonderful support from the employees and customers at Buffalo Wild Wings," says Debbie Butner, Children's Miracle Network manager at Dayton Children's.

"Their support throughout the year impacts the quality of care we are able to provide the many young children we serve."

Funds raised are used towards the purchase of vital medical equipment throughout the patient care areas of the medical center.
