Salim Mancho, DO, has recently joined The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton as medical director of pediatric plastic surgery department. He most recently completed a fellowship in pediatric plastic and cranio-maxillofacial surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
He received his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Ohio University, and completed a residency in general surgery at the UTMC Medical College of Ohio and a plastics residency at Miami Valley Hospital through Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He also completed a residency in general surgery at Medical University of Ohio through University of Toledo Medical Center (formerly the Medical College of Ohio). Dr. Mancho is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and board eligible in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Plastic surgery provides comprehensive care for all plastic surgery needs in children, including congenital anomalies, acute traumatic injuries, skin tumors and reconstruction following burns and other traumatic injuries.
