K99.1 FM nominated most caring radio station in Children's Miracle Network contest

Dayton Children's could win $50,000

Foresters has partnered with the Children's Miracle Network to find North America's Most Caring Radio Station. The winning radio station will receive a $50,000 donation from the life insurance company. The winning radio station will then donate the money to the Children's Miracle Network hospital(s) in their community.

K99.1 FM has been nominated to participate in the contest. Dayton Children's has partnered with K99.1FM to broadcast the Annual Cares for Kids Radiothon every November with morning show hosts Nancy Wilson and Steve Kerrigan. Since 1998, K99 has raised over $2 million for Dayton Children's. All the money stays local and goes directly for much needed medical equipment used to treat infants, children and teens in the Miami Valley region.

We need your votes. Vote up to 10 times every day beginning Monday, January 18 through Friday, February 5. Each time you vote for K99.1 FM, you increase the chances of the station winning $50,000 to donate to Dayton Children's.

"K99 has been such a wonderful partner in sponsoring our radiothon every year. We certainly appreciate their hard work and dedication to the children in our community," said Debbie Butner, Children's Miracle Network manager at Dayton Children's. "This would really mean a lot to our patients and staff."
