Temperature:Refrigerate if not tested immediately.
Rejection:Grossly contaminated with blood or bacteria.
Normal:Negative; test will detect 20 mIu/mL hCG/mL
Uses:Qualitative determination of pregnancy, detections of the presence of hCG in urine.
Limitations:Results may be negative in early pregnancy. If pregnancy is suspected, obtain a new specimen after 48 hours and retest.
