|Limitations:||Serial fecal specimens of 3 is recommended when screening asymptomatic patients. Aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should be avoided for 7 days prior to test. Many foods (meats, fruits, vegetables) can produce a false positive or false negative result.|
