Uses:Evaluation of hypolipidemia or hyperlipidemia and metabolic disorders. Cholesterol is decreased in severe liver disease, hyperthyroidism and pernicious anemia. It is increased in primary hyperlipidemia, nephrotic syndrome and acute biliary tract obstruction.
