|Specimen:||First catch (not midstream) urine, or urine collected at least 2 hours after last void.|

|Temperature:||Transport to the lab ASAP. Refrigerate until specimen is sent to the lab.|
|Rejection:||Inappropriately identified or commingled specimens.
Diluted specimens are unacceptable.
