Resources for Help and Support

Interfaith chapel and chaplains
Provide spiritual respite and help for our patients, families and staff. The chapel is located on the second floor near outpatient surgery.

Family Resource Center and guest services
Provides information and support through our free lending library and resources; free internet, fax and phone use. Call them at 937-641-3700.

Language services
Provides for sign language interpreters and language translation for visiting families. Talk to your child's nurse or let the staff know when you are making an appointment if you will need an interpreter.

Social work
Provide services that help families overcome emotional and financial challenges as well as identify community resources for additional assistance.

Support groups
Provides access to trained professionals, education programs and support systems for families with specific needs including grief, diseases and conditions, nutrition, etc.

The Dayton Police Department and the Dayton Fire Department have teamed up with the Dayton Dragons to host “Battle of the Badges,” a charity softball game, on June 23, 2013 to benefit the CARE House. The Dragons host the Lansing Lugnuts at 4 PM that afternoon and the softball game between Dayton’s finest will follow.
