Ms. Kathy Mitchell will review the historical perspective, current scientific research and clinical aspects of FASD behaviors and characteristics through the lifespan. Identification, treatment and prevention of FASD will be addressed. She will describe some of the challenges that families face while raising a child with an FASD. Participants will be provided with resources and free FASD prevention materials from NOFAS.
