Miamisburg High School 2012 graduate, Cassie Fouch, has

started a mission to raise awareness for the prevention of child

abuse and to reach out to victims of child abuse by showing

them how to persevere! MHS’s Student Government is joining

forces with West Carrollton’s Student Council and area SADD

programs to host this event. Proceeds go to Care House of

Dayton, our community's advocacy center for victims of abuse

and neglect, as well as Victim-Witness, which helps those

individuals who have been a victim or witness of a violent crime.

Upcoming Events

The Neighborhood Leadership Institute Alumni Association will be hosting an injury prevention class and giving away free bicycle helmets while supplies last.

The Vandalia Division of Police is sponsoring a National Night Out at the Vandalia Sports Complex. Free bike helmets will be given, will supplies last, to kids who complete a safety program during the event.

The West Carrollton Police Department will be hosting a safety class to fit and give away bicycle helmets while supplies last.

Public Health Dayton and Montgomery County is sponsoring a health fair promoting violence prevention and injury prevention at Residence Park in Dayton, Ohio.
