Community Unites to raise $1 million for Dayton Children's Hospital
Screen Works has issued a challenge for the Dayton community like they did after 9/11 to raise $1 million for Dayton Children's Hospital. (Read efforts about the 9/11 success here.) They are asking for the community to support them once again, while honoring our military and first responders with a "NEVER FORGET" Ride & Concert on Saturday, September 7th, 2013. This is a wonderful way for businesses, clubs, schools and churches to get involved with no cost out of their own pocket.
It's as EASY as 1-2-3 (Learn more details about the fundraiser here)
To participate in the "Never Forget Ride & Concert" on September 7th:
The cost for each rider is $15.00 but anyone wearing a "Never Forget" t-shirt is admitted for free. Everyone is welcome to ride or drive on this patriotic parade route leaving from Screen Works at 12:00 pm. Led by the Patriot Guard, they are expecting 1,500 - 2,000 participants and will be traveling through small town USA riding to the Dayton VA, then by Dayton Children's Hospital to Wright Paterson Air Force Base for a round trip of 65-miles with an ending party at Screen Works at 5:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you on the ride route with your "Never Forget" t-shirt on, honoring our military and first responders. For details on the ride route , visit here.
The money raised from this community fundraiser will help purchase new state-of-the-art medical equipment for the hospital.
