Cardiology

Pediatric cardiology services at Dayton Children's represent a partnership of Dayton Children's Cardiology, Inc., and the hospital. The cardiology team provides diagnosis and treatment of acquired heart problems and congenital heart disease or malfunction in children. Recently added programs at Dayton Children's include an adult congenital heart disease clinic, a certified fully digital, echocardiography laboratory and an upgraded exercise center capable of supporting additional metabolic information as well as myocardial perfusion imagine.

Our on-site echocardiography laboratory is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL) in all forms of pediatric echocardiography including transthoracic, fetal and transesophageal. It is the only lab in the Miami Valley region to achieve full accreditation in all three modes of pediatric echocardiography.
