Children are not little adults and laboratory procedures can be scary for a child. Our dedicated staff is experienced in providing superior care with minimal discomfort, from the tiniest infants to adults. We ease anxiety by explaining each procedure and providing rapid results to your child's physician.

Dayton Children's laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists, which means we are achieving the highest standards of excellence to care for your child.

The full-service laboratory performs tests from simple blood draws and urinalysis to complex genetic testing. All of our equipment is designed to use a small sample, ensuring your child is as comfortable as possible.

The clinical laboratory is open and staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for most testing.
