Our gastroenterology and nutrition department provides evaluation and diagnosis for infants, children and adolescents with disease involving the esophagus, stomach, intestines, pancreas and liver. In addition to providing inpatient and outpatient services, our team also conducts research in the areas of nutrition support, GI motility, and diseases of the liver and gastrointestinal tract.
Our nutrition support service complements the treatment of gastrointestinal disease by providing comprehensive nutrition assessments and recommendations. The nutrition support service supervises intravenous and oral feedings for patients at Dayton Children's.
