The intermediate care unit (IMCU) is a six-bed unit dedicated to caring for children who are chronically ill, technology dependent and/or who require close observation. The unit provides continuous monitoring and observation as well as a nursing staff that is trained and focused on providing consistent care from the hospital to the home.
