I chose my specialty because...

plain and simple: kids are the best! Their innocence makes me feel honored to be allowed to care for children.

I chose to work at Dayton Children's because...

I wanted to work within a system that focuses on family-centered care and is able to provide access to subspecialty services.

Dayton Children's is special because...

it is large enough to provide access to most subspecialty fields as well as a myriad of community resources. Yet, it is small enough that many staff members know each other. This tremendously improves communication between care providers, which in turn leads to better patient care. It also lets patients and families know that they are more than "just a number."

My personal Interests are...
