Get to Know Me+
I chose my specialty because... I enjoy working with patients and families with chronic diseases. I like to teach and give the families and the patients the tools to succeed.
I chose to work at Dayton Children's because... I have been on staff at Dayton Childrens since 1993, when I first moved to Dayton as a member of the United States Air Force. I retired from the military in 2007, and I wanted to continue to work at a childrens hospital. Dayton Children's was the obvious choice.
Dayton Children's is special because... It is big enough for multiple subspecialities and state of the art technology, but small enough to provide personal attention and one on one care.
My personal Interests are... Spending time with my family and animals, watching my son play baseball and my daughter dance, watching sports on TV, going to the movies
Other Notes: Dr. Pfeifer is clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
