Where to park
Parking is available for visitors. For the convenience of families, the lot in front of the hospital is accessed from the main driveway off Valley Street and is only $2 per day.
- Discount parking and discount bus passes - Families leaving and returning the same day can ask for an in/out pass at the booth in the garage. Discounted parking passes are sold in a book of 7 for $10 in the admitting office and the Kid’s Spot located on the first floor by the main entrance. Discount RTA bus passes are also available in the Kid’s Spot.
- Handicap parking - There are a limited number of handicapped spaces located next to the lower level of the Cox building, to the left of the main entrance.
The Kohl’s family lounge is located on the third floor, just off the elevators. The lounge is open 24 hours a day and offers a quiet place to take a break.
For health and safety reasons, Dayton Children’s is an entirely smoke-free campus. No one may smoke or use electronic cigarettes anywhere inside the building or outside on hospital property. Nicotine replacement products may be purchased in the Kid’s Spot located off of the main lobby.
U.S. Bank ATM
The U.S. Bank ATM is located by the main lobby next to the front information desk.
The Kid’s Spot in the main lobby has everything from over-the-counter medicines to snacks to personal supplies for an overnight stay for parents. It also features toys, books, greeting cards, magazines, newspapers, stamps, floral arrangements and unique gift items.
