Endocrinology and Diabetes
Experts at Dayton Children’s Hospital provide comprehensive specialty care for kids with endocrine disorders. Our experienced, board-certified endocrinologists oversee every aspect of their patients’ care and provide leadership for a team that includes nurses, dietitians, a social worker and a psychologist. Patients and family members see the same familiar faces each time they visit our clinic. In fact, they will likely remain with the same physician for as long as they receive care at Dayton Children’s!
We offer two different outpatient clinics for children with endocrine disorders. The diabetes clinic is for children with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, and the endocrinology clinic is for children with any other type of endocrine disorder. Appointments are available at the hospital’s main campus and in Springfield and Middletown. A physician referral is necessary prior to the child’s first outpatient visit.
