Matt Graybill serves as the chief operating officer at Dayton Children's as of October, 2011. Prior to being named COO, Graybill had served for 19 years as vice president for business development and planning with responsibility for services delivered away from Dayton Children’s main campus, business development, and Children’s Care Group, the hospital’s multi-specialty group practice. Graybill joined Dayton Children’s in 1984 as vice president of human resources and became vice president, operations—support services in 1989. Prior to joining Dayton Children’s, Graybill served as assistant vice president of human resources at Grandview Hospital, in Dayton.

Graybill is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served on the organization’s Regent Advisory Council and Credentials Committee. He is past president of the Ohio Society for Hospital Human Resources Administrators and has served on the Ohio Hospital Association Managed Care Committee and the Greater Dayton Area MRI Consortium Board of Directors.

Graybill earned a bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University and a master’s in business administration from Xavier University.

The Dayton Police Department and the Dayton Fire Department have teamed up with the Dayton Dragons to host “Battle of the Badges,” a charity softball game, on June 23, 2013 to benefit the CARE House. The Dragons host the Lansing Lugnuts at 4 PM that afternoon and the softball game between Dayton’s finest will follow.
