Vicki S. Giambrone serves as the vice president of partnerships/chief business development officer for Dayton Children's Hospital. In her role at Dayton Children’s, Vicki has administrative responsibility for the hospital’s government affairs, branding, marketing communications, child advocacy, patient relations, human resources and organizational development. Vicki is also very involved in professional associations that advocate for children. She is currently a member of the Child Advocacy Committee of the Ohio Children’s Hospitals Association and is active with the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and is a past board member of the Ohio Network of Child Advocacy Centers. In addition, Vicki is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is board certified in health care administration and earned both her bachelor’s and masters degrees from the University of Dayton.

Vicki is also active in the community. Currently she serves as vice mayor for the City of Beavercreek and serves on numerous community boards and committees including the Board of the Ronald McDonald House. In 2000, Vicki was awarded the Circle of Distinction Award from the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development for her work in building the community partnership that led to establishing Care House Children’s Advocacy Center. In addition, she has also been recognized as one of the Dayton Daily News Top Ten Women, named Dayton YWCA's “Woman of Influence” and Dayton Area Public Relations Society of America's Communicator of the Year.

She earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from University of Dayton. She has been married to her husband Jack for 25 years and they have a daughter, Quintina.

Free bike helmets will be given out as part of the Monroe Bike Rodeo this year.

The 1st Annual Logan X. Hess Stop Child Abuse Poker Run and Car Show will take place August 3. The ride begins at the Piqua American Legion and ends at Edison Community College. The car show will be at Edison Community College.

West Carrollton Police will be on hand to insure proper fit for all bike helmets.

Sample the distinctive flavors of the many cultures of Old North Dayton while enjoying entertainment, children's activities and a bicycle decoration competition for ages 9-16. All bike entries MUST be registered with the Dayton Police in advance at or at the Festival at 5:30 PM.
