The department of neurosurgery at The Children's Medical Center of Dayton provides elective and emergent care to children with disorders of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. Services are available 24 hours a day for emergencies and are also provided through the neurosurgical, neuro-oncology and myelomeningocele clinics at Dayton Children's.

Referral process: Parents and families should check with their primary care physician first if they have a scheduled appointment. A referral fromthe primary care physician is required to make an appointment.
