Brief description of endocrinology and metabolism: This endocrinology and metabolism clinic at Dayton Children's provides a comprehensive range of services in the areas of endocrinology and diabetes mellitus. The diabetes clinic offers a multidisciplinary approach to care with services proviced by an endocrinologist, pediatric nurse practitioner, diabetes nurse educator, nutritionist and social worker.

- Disorders of sexual development
- Polycystic ovarian disorder
- Growth disorders (short and tall)
- Thyroid disorders
- Calcium and bone disorders
- Diabetes insipidus
- Hypoglycemia

- Turner syndrome

- Consultation, evaluation and treatment for diabetes and endocrine disorders
- Stimulation testing on Almost Home unit for certain endocrine disorders
- Diabetes and nutrition education
