Question
My great nephew has recently been having numbness in his hands at night that wakes him up. He also experiences this numbness in his feet in the day.

Answer
Numbness in the extremities is decreased to absence of the sense of touch caused by various nerve conditions, 'neuropathy', and /or poor circulatory conditions ('peripheral vascular disease'). Numbness should be addressed as soon as possible. I suggest you call your physician for an evaluation.
